If I followed the captions properly, none of the images from the IS lens looked nearly as sharp. You didn't post the one from the IS lens with IS turned off, did you? I remember paying a couple hundred less than that, seems to me, when I bought it for use with a Canon 20D, to complete a sweep of focal lengths: 10-22, 18-55, 70-300. I used it quit a bit on the 20D. What does "full frame" mean?
When discussing a digital camera with a full frame sensor, does that mean exactly 24 x 36mm? That size was chosen for 35mm photography since it had to be a a fixed number of sprocket holes in order to use standard movie film.
