From: Andrew Hodgson on 2 Aug 2008 08:55 Hi, The other week I started my upgrade to Vista. I went to all the relevant websites, and one of the things I did was to buy a Creative Vista drivers and application CD for the X-Fi music card in my system. When I got the disk, I found that unfortunately my Creative card wasn't supported by the disk, because it is a Dell OEM card with a different part number. I have now got the basic Dell drivers, but I have two issues: 1. I cannot use any DRM stuff with these drivers, when I could with the XP based driver CD that came with the system. 2. The applications - specificly WaveStudio, are now missing, and if I install the ones from the previous CD I have (for XP), it won't work. Does anyone have a Dell Creative X-Fi music CD that they would be willing to share with me? I phoned up Dell support, but they are unable to send me a replacement disk. Thanks. Andrew.

I suppose tho you have a reason for going to Vista.
From: Joelee on 4 Aug 2008 17:31 If you go to the Dell Download & Driver site select your system and make sure you select the Vista Opering system you'll find the driver for your sound card and any other driver you require for Vista. I am using this driver now and have the issues I wrote previously. This is particularly annoying when dealing with Windows Media Player and the fact I can't use DRM content, rendering a training site inaccessible. Andrew.
