To whom it concerns: which will probably be all the ones who write software for
Kiosks.

I just installed Kubuntu desktop on an old pc, installed Wine (Windows
emulator) and tried running 2 director applications and it works. One is
extensively using FLV and XML, the other BudyApi xtra and the directImage xtra.
They both work!

This is great news as far as I am concerned, since my clients won't (always)
have to get a Windows licence in the future. I'll try some more projectors I've
written with various xtras, but I thought I'd let you all know already so you
can maybe try it out for yourselves.
