Hi Guys,
I have downloaded the Director MX demo version and installed on my pc.
When I launch the program nothing happens. It does not work?????
I can't give any more info i.e. error messages because there isn't any. It
realy does nothing at all.
I have Director 8.5 which is working fine.
My operating system is (unfortunatley) windows vista home premium.
If anybody can shed light on this I would be most grateful.

Try uninstalling and re-installing.

I have done that a few times. No joy unfortunatley.
Its so frustrating because there isn't even an error message. nothing at all!!!!!!!!

Well... It may be the file that you downloaded. You could try from a fresh
download. Before you do that, find the preferences file for the new version and
delete that. It may be conflicting with the copy of 8.5 that you have installed.

Thanks for your input. I have sorted the problem. I used the repair install option on the uninstall exe.
