From: bill on 4 Jan 2006 14:44 I have sendmail acting as a store and foreward relay for several mail servers in the event of the mail servers going down or crashing. What I need to do is turn off ndr's or at a minimum remove the attachments on the ndr's. I know that the RFC calls to send ndr's, but in this one case it is required from our upstream provider to turn off NDR's in this case. I have searched through the groups and web, but could not find a method to do this. Any help would be greatly appeciated.
From: Robert Harker on 10 Jan 2006 16:28 you can supress the return of the body of the email message when it bounces by adding nobodyreturn to the PrivacyOptions option. In your host.mc file add: define(`confPRIVACY_FLAGS',`authwarnings,nobodyreturn') Hope this helps RLH For info about our "Managing Internet Mail, Setting Up and Trouble Shooting sendmail and DNS" and a schedule of dates and locations, please send email to info(a)harker.com, or visit www.harker.com
