I have sendmail acting as a store and foreward relay for several mail
servers in the event of the mail servers going down or crashing. What
I need to do is turn off ndr's or at a minimum remove the attachments
on the ndr's. I know that the RFC calls to send ndr's, but in this one
case it is required from our upstream provider to turn off NDR's in
this case. I have searched through the groups and web, but could not
find a method to do this. Any help would be greatly appeciated.

you can supress the return of the body of the email message when it
bounces by adding nobodyreturn to the PrivacyOptions option.

In your host.mc file add:
define(`confPRIVACY_FLAGS',`authwarnings,nobodyreturn')

Hope this helps
