I've created a distribution list, but in the name column, the email address
is listed. How do I get the name column to show Last, First name?
From: Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] on
That would depend entirely on what Outlook version you are using and in
which Outlook version the DL was first created. Normally the DL will follow
the same sort order you specified for your Outlook Address Book. You posted
none of that information. I'm sure you can figure it out on your own, now.

How did you create it? If you manually added addresses, did you include
names? If you added contacts, did they have names in the display names field
when you added them?

I am jumping in here with a related question. I imported .pst Contacts file
from Outlook 2000 into Outlook 2007. I want my Outlook 07 Address book to
display with Last Name, First Name. -- It is too confusing listed by first
name. In 2000 version, it is listed Last, First.

Importing Outlook data is never the right thing to do. It is impossible to
know how much you changed or lost data by doing so. You'll find out along
the way, I'm sure. As for sorting the Outlook Address Book, the instructions
we post here daily have not changed. Since you appear to be unable to read
other posts, I'll repost just for you:
Go to Tools > Account Settings > Address Book Tab > Outlook Address Book >
Change... > Set sort order there
