From: mike_hill2107 on 18 Jun 2008 02:36 I have a bar graph that shows sales from several products for each month. Each bar represents one month of total sales. Currently the graph is only displaying the total sales of all products for each month but I would like to display the sales of each individual product within the same bar for each month. Can anyone help me to do this? I have tried and tried and can't figure it out
From: artemis on 18 Jun 2008 02:52 What is the chart source data you are using? Is it just the total figure? If so, you will get only one value on your column. You need your source data to be all the products and their values. Chart type would be stacked column.
From: mike_hill2107 on 24 Jun 2008 20:40 I have the figures divided up into to different product groups but it just puts each product group as a seperate bar instead of stacking them. For example how would I stack these stats. I have a year worth of stats that are reported on each month. The bar graph needs to be sales and the line graph (which is in the same chart) is the $ value of premiums recieved from those sales. Month- May stats for that month- (these would need to be a bar graph) Motor Insurance - 3,000 (sales) Home Insurance - 1,000 (sales) Life Insurance - 500 (sales) Other - 2000 (sales) Premium ($) 140,000 (as a line graph in the same chart) How would I put the bar and line graph in the same chart and stack the bar graph as well?
