From: Frank l on 12 Jan 2008 22:24 OK, I know many here (GB :-) ) like EZdrummer. I am somewhat content for purposes with Session Drummer 2, But.............. while redoing an old midi tune I realized, Hey, I have no Bongo, guiro, timbale, etc, etc.Does EZ Drummer have them already? If I use TTS-1 or my trusty old SC88-VL roland sound canvas all the sounds are their. Sonar 7 Prod Suggestions please and thanks Frank L
From: Frank l on 12 Jan 2008 22:50 Sorry, thought I looked at the toontrack website, must have been in another life. So, no percussion in basic kit. I would love something like TTS-1 capabilities(128 voices if you want them, 16 multiTimb I think) but with better sounds. Guess maybe i should look into seperate wave files to add to a soft synth? Not quite sure how to do that though. well, any help would be cool Thanks Frank L "Frank l" <frankl6224(a)IHATESPAMcomcast.net> wrote in message news:X9OdnU3d1bb7GRTanZ2dnUVZ_gydnZ2d(a)comcast.com... > OK, I know many here (GB :-) ) like EZdrummer. From: Max Arwood on 12 Jan 2008 22:57 I love EZ drummer. The Nashville kit is my favorite. I think it is absolutely amazing. I attribute the quality to engineering and mixing talents of Chuck Ainlay. Oh yes, you would have to get the Latin Kit for auxiliary percussion stuff. From: Frank l on 13 Jan 2008 00:31 Yes, I know. Thanks Max. I mean GB's a drummer and he speaks really highly of the sounds, so I know it's great. I really only need the percussion sounds though. Hmm? I have to figure this out, Frank L "Max Arwood" <marwoodNOSPAM(a)hnb.com> wrote in message news:3%fij.4278$El5.1531(a)newssvr22.news.prodigy.net... >I love EZ drummer. From: Max Arwood on 13 Jan 2008 04:14 I was thinking, as I moved to (fancy) drum samplers from DR008, I still used DR008 for auxiliary drum stuff. It is a handy piece of software. You could use it for you Aux stuff. I think you could roll your own Session drummer kit with misc stuff in it.
