Don't laugh. 10ms
It dosn't bother me....never did.
I'm using the most recent WDM drivers for my DAL Card Deluxe.
I could probably try their ASIO drivers and probably get lower latency, but
I can barely hear the delay as a play.

make that as *I* play.

Switched to ASIO and could get as low as 1ms, but playback was unstable.
Messed around, and it didn't get more stable until the 8-10ms range so I'm
just going to stick with what I've been using.
Since I'm a keyboardist and am used to having my 'sound' come from a box at
some other point of the stage/room, so I'm quite used to having a slight
delay. 10ms ain't ugotz. I guess I'm seasoned ;)

I can appreciate a "drummer" needing the lowest latency possible.
FWIW I chose my sound card for quality as it is most used for critical audio
testing. If I sacrifice a bit of latency, so be it!
:-)

Applause !
