From: Tom on 10 Apr 2008 21:55 Hi, we have a Optiplex GX620 PC w/ ATI 256MB Radeon X1399 Pro video adapter dual montior out connected to two Dell 17" monitors. This configuration is working ok except the video adapter is configured for 1024 x 768 resolution but monitor #2 has a default higher resolution and even if I change the resoultion for the video adapter monitor #2 remains at a higher resolution. How can I fix this? Thanks, Tom
From: Christopher Muto on 10 Apr 2008 22:33 unless you have the option to extend your desktop across both displays, you can change the resolution of each monitor seperately. open display properties and you should see a visual representation of monitor 1 and monitor 2. you can select the monitor that you want to adjust and then adjust the resolution. you can also drag the monitors to match how they physically appear on your desk.
