There are four or five modes on this option above... - disable - auto - enhanced mode - combined mode - sata only Here on my PC, I has the same problem (the CD-ROM wasn't mouting, 2 SATA Pioneer DVR-111D) when I try to install Debian using the "auto" mode, but when I change to "enhanced mode" installation runs fine. (DVD drives was recognized as IDE, here's the problem before the change in BIOS, they are "SATA" and module doesnt't work for them).
