So this newsgroup is just for discussions for the Operating System itself? iTunes, Terminal, Safari and other Apple programs should be in comp.sys.mac.apps along with 3rd party apps? And isn't comp.sys.mac.comm for modems and wire/wireless networking?

And how many times have you been directed to relevant comp.sys.mac.* groups instead of this one? -- <http://designsbymike.net/shop/mac.cgi> Mac and geek T-shirts & gifts <http://designsbymike.net/election.shtml> Election 2008 goods. <http://designsbymike.net/shop/prius.cgi> Prius shirts/bumper stickers <http://designsbymike.net/shop/greet.cgi> Holiday cards with attitude

I would consider discussion of iTunes to be better placed in comp.sys.mac.apps because it's part of iLife, which is a retail product. Personally, I consider discussion of *any* application in the Applications folder to be best placed in comp.sys.mac.apps, regardless of whether or not it's installed with the operating system. -- Please send all responses to the relevant news group.
