From: Maggie on 5 Apr 2005 17:21 I am using Outlook 2003 and Windows XP. When I send an email with an attachement it gets stuck in the Outbox. Usually it happens with attachements over 1MB but sometimes it happens with smaller ones. Outlook will try re-sending whenever it does an automatic send/receive (every 10 minutes) and my antivirus reports scanning the outgoing message. I get the message "Send/Receive Status 100%" even though the message is still in the Outbox. I also get this message, "Sending' reported error (0x8004210B) : 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from the sending (SMTP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'" I do not seem to have a problem moving or deleting the message. , and the recepients usually report receiving the message multiple times. It seems to be a pretty constant problem, but not all the time; last week I sent 4 messages of more than 1MB in a row and they all sent fine the first time, to a receipient who has received multiple messages from me in the past. Please help! This is a work account and it's very annoying to my clients!

From: Mark on 5 Apr 2005 17:45 Ok Two more question. Are you using VPN to connect to Outlook or are you using RPC over HTTP? Does this ever happen when you are in the office or is it only when you are doing this from home? "Maggie" wrote: > I am doing this from my home laptop on a lite cable internet connection.
