I have some (inexpensive Casio & Sharp) 1970s calculators which still work perfectly. A few years ago, my smallest Sony TV died, apparently due to failure of the filament in its picture tube -- it was 30 years old. The "Western Electric" brand telephone my family was using on the day I was born would probably also still work, if I hadn't lost it :) It's lucky for me that I was also manufactured way back then :) ..
