From: bigwavedave on 9 Jul 2008 23:07 Left side of keyboard on laptop types correct characters, right side of key board does not. Could not find 'help' on help menu. Any help?
From: Carmen Gauvin-O'Donnell on 10 Jul 2008 07:45 Have you perhaps accidently pressed the Fn (purple) key which is probably on the lower left of your keyboard and then the Numeral Lock key (a little purple lock with a number 1 in it, probably on the scroll key in the upper right of your keyboard)? When you do that, the M./JKL;UIOP7890 keys turn into a numeric keypad and won't type letters. From: Beverly Howard [Ms-MVP/MobileDev] on 11 Jul 2008 11:29 A related point... if you use the docking station or external keyboard to use a full keyboard with a number pad, having the <numlock> on for that configuration will often create this situation. Beverly Howard [MS MVP-Mobile Devices]
