From: ChrisD on 18 Jun 2006 11:15 Hello folks Can anyone tell me if VueScan supports the film scanning unit of the 3590 (i.e. the bit that makes it different from the 3490). The SANE web page says that SANE does NOT support it, but I can't find a yes or no answer about VueScan. regards Chris

According to this: http://www.hamrick.com/vuescan/vuescan.htm#epson the 3590 is supported by VueScan. Bart
From: ChrisD on 19 Jun 2006 18:17 Ed Hamrick has confirmed that VueScan does work with the 3590's film handling unit. Thanks for your reply Bart -- I had seen that web page, and while it says that the 3590 is supported, it doesn't specifically mention the film handling. regards Chris
From: Maris V. Lidaka Sr. on 20 Jun 2006 00:44 I'm sure that it does, Chris, but why not download it and try it out? Simple install - it just expands into its own folder on the C:\ drive, and no registry entries are added.
