This morning I wanted to download my e-mail and kept getting this error
message. I renamed old .dbx files as adviced on microsoft pages but didn'
help.
Please help...

Hi Shady,

What files have you renamed? The Inbox.dbx file is likely to be the problem
(with this error). Restarting Outlook Express will result in new, empty
default folders when they are deleted or renamed. Further steps can be taken
if this doesn't/didn't help.
