I have been trying to install an update for drivers and sp1 and my computer
isn't taking them. I keep getting error code 646 and have tried to fix it
but can't. Any suggestions on what to do?

I also encountered the error code 646 when I recently uploaded 3 updates that
were posted in the auto update. It says unknown error and the update failed.
Does anybody has an idea what could be the cause? Would really appreciate the
help.

Hello Tony,

WinXP SP1? Vista SP1? Office 2007 SP1? .NET Framework v3.x SP1?...

Please always state what OS you're & service pack as it does make a
difference -
Also, could you supply some information on what your firewall is, anti-virus,
other RTP programs, etc?
