I have many links to DB2 files in an AS400, and have recently upgraded
to Access 2003. Now whenever I try to run a 'group' query with a
calculation I get the error message *'Scaling of decimal value resulted
in data truncation'*.

How do I overcome this problem ?

The old version of Access worked just fine !

The answer is to use CDBL() function for the calcualtion
