From: doofdaddy on 22 Jun 2005 09:46 I have been getting this message while working on Word 2003. "The document was saved, but data for speech recognition was lost because there was not enough space to store it. Be sure to turn off the microphone when you are not recording, and check the available storage space on the disk." I have a Toshiba R15. I have 1.5 GB RAM and my page file is set to 1 GB. I haven't used the mic or chnaged any settings. The problem just started showing up today. Any ideas? Anything that might be running in the background that might need to be turned off? Thanks.
From: terri on 22 Jun 2005 10:37 Take a look to see if Office is opening up its speech app. Look on the bottom taskbar to see if there's a microphone and other icons when you load Office. If so, right click it and choose the command to exit. You can turn it off permanently in the Office options. -- Terri Stratton Editor / Owner http://thetabletpc.net http://themediacenterpc.net Microsoft Featured Communities Microsoft Windows MVP - Tablet PC "doofdaddy" <doofdaddy(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:eLd$CDzdFHA.688(a)TK2MSFTNGP14.phx.gbl... >I have been getting this message while working on Word 2003. > "The document was saved, but data for speech recognition was lost because > there was not enough space to store it.
