I get a error message on boot up "system running in fail safe mode, check
CMOS BIOS settings"
I check the settings and every thing seems ok. I have reset to default
settings , no change. If I opt to hit F1, the system loads the OS and works
fine.
Any suggestions on what to check next or how to clear the error message?
Thanks
Rich

Try physically, reseting your cmos on your motherboard using a jumper.
You could find out where you could do that on the website of your
motherboard maker.
