good morning, sir..

i have some error while installing a package, I am using Windows XP and PHP version is 5.0.3

the command that had been given and the repliy from the machine follows

C:\Phperl3\php>pear install DB-1.7.14RC1.tgz
No handlers for package.xml version 2.0

C:\Phperl3\php>pear install DB
HTTP error, got response: HTTP/1.1 410 Gone
Didn't receive 200 OK from remote server. (HTTP/1.1 410 Gone)

C:\Phperl3\php>pear upgrade -a PEAR-1.3.6
HTTP error, got response: HTTP/1.1 410 Gone
Didn't receive 200 OK from remote server. (HTTP/1.1 410 Gone)


what is the problem? please explain me and how can i rectify this?

Your PEAR installation is too old. Upgrade first:
http://pear.php.net/
