I was trying to burn images onto CDs, and the blue screen popped up with this
message: Serious Error, Error code 100000d1, parameter 1 00000014, parameter
2 00000002, parameter 3 00000000, parameter 4 f92f39c6. What does this mean,
and is my system permanently damaged?

What programme and what version of that programme
were you using to burn images?

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right
click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select
Properties. Hardware, Device Manager. If yes what is the
Device Error code?

You could try Start, Run, type "sfc /scannow" without quotes
and hit Enter.

Everything points to a replacement being needed for a driver.
The task is to identify which and find where to get the replacement.

Hope this helps.
