i have a marvell yukon 88E 8036pci fast ethernet adapter preinstalled. i
cannot connect to the internet using the same as it is not listed in the
device manager. however, when i scan the system for network adapters i get
the follwing results:

[00000002] Marvell Yukon 88E8036 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller
[00000014] Microsoft TV/Video Connection
[00000012] Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection
[00000015] Bluetooth PAN Network Adapter
[00000017] D-Link USB Remote NDIS Network Device

what could be the fault?

Paras,

no proper driver installed?

If I remember correctly, Microsoft Update at
http://update.microsoft.com/ has a new driver for it, but you
could also go to the manufacturer's web site, download the
latest driver, and install it.
