I'm trying to export a very simple animation with a .wav sound file as a
quicktime movie. However when I export the start of the sound file makes a
clicking noise, this noise is not present in the .wav file or in the preview
inside director.

Perhaps it's the compression settings in the QT export. For exporting aniimation
to video from Director, I'd suggest you export the frames as an image sequence.
Then convert that into video and add sound in a program like Premiere. That way,
you'd get much betetr control over teh vusayl and audio quality of your output
video file.

Above one was sent as I noticed some typing errors. Here's the corrected
version:)
