From: Steve K on 27 Jun 2008 12:12 Here's a quirk I just can't get my head around: We were just migrated from Office 2000 to Office 2003. We have an Access 2000 database (running in Access 2003) that has a variety of reports that we email (via SendObject coding) in an rtf attachment(s). For one particular report, I've created the .rtf file on 4 different users pcs and received 3 different outputs. Mine and one other machine seem to export the whole file correctly. Another user gets pretty close (that I wouldn't even worry about it). However, one person in particular is having a real problem. Her .rtf export doesn't always show the whole set of information for different controls on the report. For example, there is a Comments memo box. Her ..rtf cuts off the information... but the information is still in the database and if I create the report from my machine... I get all the information in my .rtf file. Anybody have any thoughts on what my be causing such strange behavior? Your help/suggestions are appreciated in advance. Thanks. Steve

From: Pete D. on 7 Jul 2008 15:50 Start by comparing the printer drivers on the different machines. Use the one that works the best and check the settings such as font setup for the printers. This is usually what I find makes reports appear different from one machine to the next. Pete D. From: Steve K on 11 Jul 2008 14:04 Pete, Thanks for the suggestion. Here's a twist... the problem mysteriously corrected itself. The user no longer has any problem exporting the rtf files. She swears she didn't change anything (and knowing her... she probably didn't). I guess I'll chock it up to gremlins for now. If it happens again... I'll be sure to include this suggestion in my review. Thanks again.
