From: sicowan on 26 Jan 2007 10:24 Hello, Our company has a HUGE number of DIr's with Wav audio embedded in. The big question is...does Director (8.5+) have the potential resource in Director LIngo to write a script that will 1) Export the wavs as wavs to a desired folder and 2) find the marker information inside the wavs and record this to txt or xml ? I really just want to know if it is possible before heading down a wrong development path. Cheers, Simon
From: Mike Blaustein on 26 Jan 2007 11:36 As far as writing a text file to save all the cuepoint data, that should not be hard to write a script to do. Just run through each sound and get the list of cuepoints, then save them to a file using one of the many xtras that writes files, like buddyAPI, budFile, vList, etc To export the audio, that can be done with audioXtra, though I'm not sure if it will export cuepoints.
