Folks:

What is the best software (or your favorite) out there that can be used to
play FLV format files.

Thanks,
JoJo.

Ho JoJo,
I use VideoLan VLC Player:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

During installation, there is a window where you can choose what file
types (file extensions) to associate with the player. I uncheck all of
them, then just check .FLV and .VLC, since I don't want the player to
take over any other file types that I have associated with other
players.

There are several small dedicated FLV players out there (dedicated to FLV,
so they won't mess up any of your other video players and settings). Some
examples include:

Martijn FLV Player
Riva FLV Player
Sothink FLV Player

Check them out by reviews, such as over on download.com, and by Google.

The only one of those three I've tried is the Riva FLV player. It is
small and handy, but not only doesn't it have a Full Screen option, it
does not let you resize the window either. That's why I went looking
for something with more features.

Both the Sothink and Martijn FLV Players have a Full Screen option.

IrfanView(free) has had support for viewing FLV files since version 4.10.
