From: No Spam on 2 Jun 2007 23:02 I went to download the livecd of Fedora 7, but the file dates concern me. They are: File: Fedora-7-KDE-Live-i686.iso 702988 KB 5/25/2006 8:23:00 PM File: Fedora-7-Live-i686.iso 716238 KB 5/25/2006 7:56:00 PM Can anyone comment on why this is and if there is any reason to be concerned? Also, what is the difference between the two files? My guess is the second one may be GNOME, but... Thanks, Dennis,

The file dates on the official site (hosted by Red Hat) are: Fedora-7-KDE-Live-i686.iso 702988 KB 05/25/2007 08:23:00 PM Fedora-7-Live-i686.iso 716238 KB 05/25/2007 07:56:00 PM Unless otherwise stated, Red Hat/Fedora uses Gnome.

I checked all of the U.S. mirrors, all have this date & time stamp. Also, it looks like the mdsum is wrong. I tried two U.S. sites and the calculated sum I get is 9b3bd94978323377d5fb2ee0ea55e099, the posted sum is 9f7caedd316d28686cb320c1640d07d403ab95ef . Dennis,
