From: Dave on 7 Nov 2006 03:01 I've installed 2007.0 on two Dell servers, one a PowerEdge 2800 with two SCSI RAID sets, the other a smaller box with a single RAID set having multiple partitions. In both cases the /home directory has its own partition. On both servers the /home filesystem is being silently unmounted overnight. There are no relevent entries in any logfile. Msec is not running (I've removed it from the cron files) and only the normal cron jobs are in the files. The dismount doesn't occur if I have a file open on the filesystem. I wonder if there is something in the system to unmount unused USB devices which is triggering on my SCSI RAIDsets? -- Dave

I've disabled KDED Media Manager which hopefully will work around the problem. -- Dave
