Suggestions for a outbound firewall?
I finally uninstalled Zone Alarm. The recent conflict between Zone Alarm and the latest Microsoft Hotfix was the final straw. My computer is now running a lot faster (especially on boot-up), so I am glad I did. And I still have good inbound protection between the router and WIndows Firewall, well at least the route... 12 Jul 2008 05:24

Firewall to Staff Ratio
Can anyone provide guidance to how one might calculate how much staff is necessary to support a Checkpoint firewall pair? I know that this ratio may be impacted by several factors (i.e, the size of the user base or the number of supported applications), but a ballpark figure and the basis for the ratio is appreci... 7 Jul 2008 11:27
Abaca's ReceiverNet technology gurantees 99% accuracy in blocking spam mails
I read an article about a new technology called ReceiverNet from Abaca. ReceiverNet technology characterizes each protected user based on the percentage of spam they receive and then uses those reputations to rate the incoming message flow. I changed my spam filtering system to Abaca’s Email Protection Gateway and ... 30 Jun 2008 04:30
