From: KrisG on 14 Sep 2005 03:57 I tried to download fireworks8-en.exe for Windows, but after downloading, the installers says: "The contents of this file can not be unpacked. The executable youa re attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of this file, verify it's integrity, and try again.". I dowloaded it again, multiple times, using IE and Firefox, and even tried to download it on another computer. All gave the same error. Dreamweaver8-en.exe and Flash8-en.exe installed without problems.
From: Max B. on 14 Sep 2005 04:40 Dear KrisG, I found the same error downloading Windows-version of Fireworks 8 with any browser, so please UPLOAD ASAP the new full-functioning version. Thanks, Massimo
From: Alex Mariño on 14 Sep 2005 07:34 I did not experience that problem. I downloaded early yesterday morning and it is up and running. I downloaded with Firefox. I was also suprised at how fast I was able to download all their trial products. Faster than ever before. alex Max B. wrote: > Dear KrisG, > I found the same error downloading Windows-version of Fireworks 8 with any browser, so please UPLOAD ASAP the new full-functioning version. > Thanks, > Massimo

From: KrisG on 14 Sep 2005 09:29 Murray, I applied the steps that are mentioned on that page, and downloaded it again. Now it works. I assume there was a problem with my temporary files or with the amount of disk space for temporary Internet pages (it was 50 MB on my machine, I increased it to 200). Net, following the steps allowed me to download it again and install. Thanks, Kris
