On my Intel 1.5 Mini with 2gb ram I've always noticed Flac music files
often stutter in the first few seconds, then seem to be fine. Also in
VLC, the counter doesn't work with Flac. Any suggestions as to how to
remedy this? Activity Monitor doesn't show any severe workloads.

VLC. Any other suggestions besides Play and Cog? And do you people
think the stuttering is the fault of VLC? And how does one import a
Flac file to iTunes? I have to convert it first? iTunes won't import
it.
