I wondered if anyone can tell me if it is easier to connect to a mysql database
with Flash 8.
I have got FlashMX Pro but so far have not been able to find anything to help
to connect and read the contents of a database.
The only improvements for Flash 8 on the the macromedia website relates to
Video enhancement and animation effects.

I would appreciate any comments.

Thank you.

Kirk

It's pretty easy to hook up to MySQL with flash, but as all web pages, you
need to use PHP or ASP and the like, you read/write though the server pages
to/from flash. Far as I know, there is no built in client/server api in
flash, maybe in version 12?
