From: PTrich on 19 Dec 2005 19:29 Have a problem with the item in the subject line. Whenever my wife goes to play a Gameblast game (which uses shockwave) the game loads, and you can start to play. Very soon after starting, an error occurs which 'forces Macromedia Projector' to close. Upon exit, the screen is in 640 x 480 mode (normally 1024 x 768). Oddly, she has a DOS-mode game that she then tried (successfully) to play, and upon exiting out of that, the screen resolution was back to normal. Belarc tells me these Macromedia programs are on the machine: Macromedia Director Version 6.0.2 * Macromedia Director Version 7.0.2 * Macromedia, Inc. - Director 8 Shockwave Studio Version 8.0 * Macromedia, Inc. - Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio Version 8.5.1 * Macromedia, Inc. - Director MX Version 10.0 * and there's also: shockwave.com Keyhole DRM Application Version 1, 0, 0, 1 * The machine's running XP SP2, an AMD Athlon XP 3200 w/ 512 mb RAM. Note that not *all* shockwave games seem to do this; I don't know what the variables are. In the past I've uninstalled, redownloaded, and reinstalled shockwave. No difference...... Flash is the latest version. Gameblast directs Shockwave/Flash questions to Macromedia. I've updated my display drivers, no change. Any help would be appreciated...... Rich
