I just installed the Flash 8 Professional trial on my new computer, and while
the installation went fine, the program crashes on startup. I've tried
uninstalling/reinstalling/restarting, booting in safe mode, and nothing seems
to work.

I even found an old trial of Flash MX and tried installing that, but I had
the same issues.

Does anyone know why Flash would crash on startup?

I'm using Windows XP SP2.
