From: barts5 on 5 May 2008 22:37 Hello, I added some flash buttons to my website (www.glennbartley.com - just under the main title). They work fine in firefox on my PC. But not in Safari on mac's?? If anyone can help me sort this out I would really appreciate it. All the best, Glenn
From: Murray *ACE* on 6 May 2008 06:40 If you want to use Flash for navigation, consider this - 1. Some people don't have Flash installed - what do they do? 2. Search engines don't parse Flash links - your site will not be spidered 3. Screen assistive devices don't parse Flash links - what will those users do? 4. DW cannot maintain links within a Flash movie, so if you move or rename a linked file, your navigation will break - what will you do? It's usually a very bad idea for these reasons... -- Murray --- ICQ 71997575 Adobe Community Expert (If you *MUST* email me, don't LAUGH when you do so!) ================== http://www.projectseven.com/go - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources http://www.dwfaq.com - DW FAQs, Tutorials & Resources ================== "barts5" <webforumsuser(a)macromedia.com> wrote in message news:fvog8d$2ud$1(a)forums.macromedia.com... > Hello, > > I added some flash buttons to my website (www.glennbartley.com - just > under > the main title).
