From: eddit on 22 Apr 2008 00:40 I cannot add a stroke to a shape. When I choose a shape and then go to choose the stroke color nothing happens. This happens to shapes that i've already created, no-stroke shapes i create, or shapes I create with a stroke (stroke works on shape creation) then remove the stroke, then try to add back. I've restarted flash several time to no avail
From: rritchey on 22 Apr 2008 07:32 changing the stroke color does just that, changes the color of the stroke. It will not add a stroke if there isn't one. To add a stroke you need to use the Ink Bottle tool (located just to the left of, or above - depending on your toolbar orientation - the Paint Bucket) Simply select the Ink Bottle Tool and click on your shape, and a stroke should appear. In my experience I have noted that it doesn't always work on the first click, especially if the shape is selected. I typically click off of the shape/deselect it, and then click on it with the Ink Bottle to add a stroke.
