Hi! I want to create a simple tree for use in a genealogy application by inputting data by xml file. I saw a tutorial on how to do this without actionscript coding, just by inputting values in the parameters dialogs. Can someone direct me to a tutorial like that or possible telling me how to do it? Scrollbars in Flash 8
I've got a text field in flash 8 that I have set to dynamic and scrollable and I was under the impression all i had to do to get a scrollbar was to drag the component onto the textfield and set the Instance Name of the _targetInstanceName to the name of the Instance Name used for the textfield. Firefox and MM_controlShockwave
I'm loading a swf and want to stop it, run a different swf first, and THEN play the other swf. This works in IE fine, but when the javascript function MM_controlShockwave is called in Firefox, I get the error: obj.Play is not a function So then, I'm guessing that there's something amiss in the Macromedia code... 8 Mar 2006 10:51
