From: Timothy Daniels on 23 Apr 2008 23:17 Flash9f.ocx crashes my browsers (IE and Opera) with an error box reporting "an unhandled win32 exception occurred in IEXPLORE.EXE" and the Visual Studio debugger reports the following "illegal instruction": pshufw mm1, mm0, 0E4h Why is this instruction illegal? (The CPU is a PII running XP Pro/SP2.) Although the Adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ test page plays Flash OK to indicate that Flash is installed, whenever the Adobe.com homepage with the blue/gray city skyline comes up and announces "Acrobat customer stories:", the crash occurs. On Kingwin.com, as soon as the Flash d'load completes, the same thing happens. This started happening this past December. Does anyone know why? *TimDaniels*
