I have tasks set up and they are linked, in order, and then finally linked to
the milestone.
How do I have project show me the float time that I have before the task(s)
miss the milestones?
Thanks,

If your project is set up exactly as you've described it there's zero slack
or float in any of the tasks. You need to also have a deadline set for the
finish milestone (Task Information form, Advanced tab). Then Mike's
suggestion of the Schedule table will show you the slack.

Yep - that why I said "exactly as described" - he didn't say explicitly he
had fixed the milestone so I assumed he had not. <g>
