Sto per comprare un nuovo PC e vorrei formattare il mio vecchio PC (prima di
regalarlo a mio nipote) perché ha dei problemi.
Come faccio a formattarlo?
PS Ho il CD di Windows XP e dopo potrei reinstallarlo facendolo diventare un
nuovo PC
Grazie

Before you give your old PC to your nephew, boot it up with your Windows XP
installation CD, then allow the disk to be formatted when you see the
prompt.

By the way, posting in an Italian newsgroup or posting in English would get
you many more replies.

This is an English language newsgroup, and posts in Italian here are
likely to be misunderstood or go unanswered. You would do much better
either posting in English here or posting in an Italian newsgroup.

However, I know a little Italian, and I'll try to answer you. I hope
you can understand my English.

If I understand you correctly, you are about to buy a new PC and want
to give the old one to your nephew. You want to know how to format it
before reinstalling Windows XP on it.

You don't have to format it as a separate step. Simply boot from the
XP CD and follow the prompts for a clean installation. It will do the
format for you as its first step.
