"Fast Fourier Transform of a Step-function in 3-dimonsional."
I'm looking for a subroutine of Fortran90 about "Fast Fourier Transform of a Step-function in 3-dimonsional." I read the related subroutines in Numerical Recipes Book, but I couldn't match it for a 3D step function. Whould you please let me to have access to a subroutine for mentioned goal? F2003 automatic deallocation
Hi, while reading through the Draft Standard (about automatic deallocation of allocated, allocatable entities and finalization) there were some points I'm unsure about. Say, I've types like that: TYPE :: finalizable_t CONTAINS FINAL :: some_rank_1_finalizer END TYPE finalizable_t TYPE :: compound_t ... 23 Jun 2008 15:49
How to determine if a module is in scope
How do you determine if a module is in scope or not? For example, if you have four modules a,b,c,d. Suppose a uses b, b uses c, and c uses d. If a is used by the main program. Are all the modules always in scope? My thinking is a is in scope due to being used by the main program. Since a is in scope, b is... 20 Jun 2008 23:32

Externals in modules
I have a question to externals in modules, as illustrated below. I would think that the interface specification would tell RUKU that fun is an external, but G95 requires the additional external fun statement, whereas other compilers (Lahey, CVF) does not. What are the exact requirements for specification of ... 20 Jun 2008 12:14
