From: garygw on 31 Mar 2006 15:31 I have a Gateway profile 4, I have no video and when I first turn the system on I get one long then two short beeps. I first thought it might be the inverter that went out, but the beeps lead me to think its the video board. Any ideas? Also where would the video board be located?
From: Tweek on 3 Apr 2006 12:22 one long and two short beeps is a 'no video' error, meaning the machine either does not detect a video card or it has malfunctioned. If the profile 4 does not have integrated video (I think it does though) you can reseat the card. If it is integrated, you will probably need to replace the motherboard since the profile series has no expansion slots to add a new video card.
