Can't get full functionality of an IBM Space Saver II (rt3200) I just got the keyboard which is almost perfect. The problem is that the numlock feature doesn't work in X. It doesn't have a numeric keypad. Instead you hit SHIFT+NUMLOCK to enable keypad entry on the typewriter keys. For all you 20 somethings out there it is important that you read the above. There is ... 19 Jul 2008 10:55
UPDATE on switching from Windows to Ubuntu Linux As I mentioned before, our Co is switching its server side apps, which suffered from low network perfromance of Windows, to Linux. Downgrading from 64 bit to 32 bit? I am very seriously considering downgrading my Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit Linux installs to 32 bit, now that I have discovered that 32 bit can use more than 4 GB of RAM. My question is how hard is it to do. Ideally, I would love to just replace packages and reboot, or something like that, without a full reinstall. ... 20 Jul 2008 20:40

can cp/mv/rm be made case insensitive? Hi all. Another beginner question. For which I did do a thorough search before posting. And if my assumption is right, ... 25 Jul 2008 08:22
