delete the actual symbol *
I made the mistake of adding the * symbol to some entries that I wanted to flag. Now I can not search for them because the * is seen as a wild card character and every cell is found by the FIND function. Is there anything I can do? ... 3 Jul 2008 16:38

Excel keeps adding in my date as part of my sum
I have a spreadsheet where the date is the column header, and I have a series of numbers below that. In Excel 2003, multiple pages on a worksheet would print in whatever order you added them to the print range. I just added something to a print range in Excel 2007, and instead of making it the last page to print, it made it the first page to print. dates to hours
I have two times in my spreadsheet. I have a job that has a start time that begins at 07:00 and ended the job 3-days later at 23:47. copying HTML table into Excel
I have a table in HTML format that I would like to copy into Excel. Because the table contains various cells with a large amount of data (could have 10 lines of data within one cell), when copying into Excel, Excel treats each line break as a different cell.
