Workbook Protection so it won't open
Hi All...... A User wants to password protect a workbook so the workbook will not open without the password. I only use XL97, 2k, and XP and there appears to be no means therein to do the job. Oh of course I can hide sheets, and stuff like that, but no basic feature I can see to do the job untill XL2003. Anybody... 8 Jul 2008 20:18

Thank you for your reply. Since this is the office's computer, I cannot download that program. It has a potential of crashing down. Is there another way to do it with MS program? Removing text from a cell with text and numbers
I am using Excel 2007. I am pasting extensive lists into excel from a website. Column A is a list of different section numbers. As pasted, they have both text and numbers (i.e. Sec. 25.67).
