Never happened. I did provide some dictionary definitions of words at the
beginning of the debate, but they came from a standard dictionary.

However, this paragraph (link below) is one of Sterephile's usual mixtures
of truth and deception:

"Arny arrived armed with absolute certainty (ABX for short). Subjectivism,
he declared, is a philosophy that states that we cannot know anything for
sure. Objectivism, on the other hand, postulates reason as an absolute, and
declares that the scientific approach applies to all areas of knowledge.
Stereophile lets down its readers because it willfully ignores
incontrovertible evidence that ABX is the only adequate method for
evaluating equipment."

The fact of the matter is that as a scientist, I have no absolute certainty
about anything in the physical world. All findings of science are
provisional, and only relevant until we learn something better. That happens
all the time.

I provide definitions of subjectivism and objectivism about 4:45 into the
MP3 file. The definition I gave was copied word-for-word from a well-known
dictionary. It agrees with the first sentence on the home page of
http://www.humantruth.info/subjectivism.html

"Subjectivism is the fact that we cannot know everything, or even know
anything for sure."

So George is speaking very ignorantly when he claims that I used an
vocabulary that I made up. Reemember, George is pretty much a functional
illiterate who believes that he can train people off the street with
everything they need to know about live sound in a few minutes. Did you
learn everything you need to know about live sound in a few minutes?

Never happened. Atkinson has posted to a few threads that were cross-posted
here. The ones I can find aren't even about audio.

The recording linked below is AFAIK accurate and complete. I just listened
to random parts of it. The length of an hour and 2 minutes agrees with my
recollections.

Over 100 people were present when the recording was made. Imagine what it
would take to keep them all quiet, if there were any discrepancies. The
audience included lots of well-known people from both sides. BTW, the mics
were SM81s.

Never happened. This is all a paranoid fantasy of George's.

I suspect that most live sound people will find the debate boring. It bored
me when I did it! Atkinson seemed to be very weak and tired at the time.

Amongst other things I suggest you look up the dictionary or wiki
definition of 'spam'.

Aside from a few Asian clowns, there is NO spamming going on here thank
