I can find no reference anywhere in rec.audio.pro or any relevant Google or EBay searches for Entec DAC. Is there a model number? > I still think the older Krell unit isn't bad either. Where can I find a description of ladder DAC chips?

Analog Devices used to have a freebie book about converters which was a great introduction to how the various configurations worked, but I can't find it on the AD website.
