Ya got me, Scott. I can find no reference anywhere in rec.audio.pro or any
relevant Google or EBay searches for Entec DAC. Is there a model number?

Where can I find a description of ladder DAC chips?

The combination of features and reputation looks promising. I'll keep an
eye out for it in December.

I spelled it wrong. Entech 203.2 and the Entech 205.2 are the beasts.

and look at what they call a "parallel flash converter" which is the
simplest design using a resistive ladder. Analog Devices used to have
a freebie book about converters which was a great introduction to how
the various configurations worked, but I can't find it on the AD website.
I think my copy is dated 1980 or so.
