From: Shankar on 29 Mar 2008 05:50 Hi...I would like to add my own entries in the "Getting started(Welcome Center)" plug-in on Windows mobile standard 6.1? Is there anyway to do it? Thanks Shankar B.
From: Chris Tacke, eMVP on 29 Mar 2008 11:30 It's called a "Today Screen Plug-in". With that term, a search engine will get you to samples. -- Chris Tacke, Embedded MVP OpenNETCF Consulting Giving back to the embedded community http://community.OpenNETCF.com "Shankar" <Shankar(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C90A9614-2781-4703-A335-282F26ECF8CF(a)microsoft.com... > Hi...I would like to add my own entries in the "Getting started(Welcome > Center)" plug-in on Windows mobile standard 6.1? > Is there anyway to do it? > > Thanks > Shankar B.
From: Shankar on 30 Mar 2008 03:16 Hi, I am working on windows Mobile 6.1 standard. Even I have tried with Home screen plug-ins. I got few samples through Search engine, through that I can able to change the "Getting started" plug-in the home screen only. (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\CHome\CWelcomeCenter) But the same changes are not getting reflected, if I open the same welcome center/getting started application through the programs folder. Is there any different registry settings/path I have to edit? Thanks, Shankar B. "Chris Tacke, eMVP" wrote: > It's called a "Today Screen Plug-in".
